What is Mulholland Drive?

I remember in 2016 we drove along famous winding Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles. It was famous before David Lynch's film came out in 2001. Many celebrities' richest houses are located here. Lynch himself has been living just around the winding corner on the next street. And who else but Lynch can tell about the world of Mulholland Drive, Los Angeles and glowing Hollywood sign.

I had a very typical stereotyppical idea about this world and its atmosphere until walked down its bright and dark streets and looked behind the scenes. One can rephrase the iconic saying from Lynch's other creation "Twin Peaks" - "Mulholland Drive is not what it seems" and that's why it's so realistic.
