Federico Ricci is a multi-award winning Italian film composer whose music spans from powerful cinematic scores to intimate classical orchestrations and modern hybrid soundscapes. He has written original soundtracks for feature films, short films, trailers, and documentaries across Italy and abroad. His work has been recognized with numerous international awards, including the prestigious Platinum Award for Best Original Score at the Independent Short Awards in Los Angeles, as well as honors at the Oniros Film Festival Awards (New York), the New York International Film Awards, and the Athens International Art Film Festival. Ricci’s career took an international turn in 2021 with Two’s a Lesson (dir. Joshua Urquhart), which won Best Original Score at the Gothamite Film Awards. Since then, he has composed music for productions such as Ozmar (Australia), La Escort and Carcoma (Spain), Voleurs de Rêves (France), and the Italian thriller Pop Black Posta.
