Born in Rostov-on-Don. From 2002 to 2007, Sergey studied at the Admiral F. F. Ushakov Maritime State Academy, majoring in navigation. He worked at sea on a Greek supertanker. In 2008, he entered the directing department of the VGIK in the workshop of Vadim Abdrashitov. In 2012-2013, he shot corporate videos for MTS, which received several awards at the AKMR Corporate Video Festival. From 2013 to 2018, he managed the taxi service, which was one of the top 10 largest Uber partners in Moscow. Based on the taxi service, he created an IT system for monitoring drivers, which received funding from the state venture fund of the Federal Agency for Public Transport and Public Transport, as well as several private foundations. After the sale of the business in 2018, Sergey returned to work in his specialty, made several short films, is preparing to shoot his debut feature and produces a number of works by other directors.
